Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a self-employed window cleaner to provide professional cleaning services on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will operate independently, utilise their own van and equipment, and deliver excellent customer service. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build a client base within the local area. Applicants must be reliable, organised, and possess strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties

Clean windows at commercial premises using appropriate tools and techniques
Manage your own schedule to optimise service delivery across designated areas
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety during all cleaning operations
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional service
Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order
Keep accurate records of appointments, completed jobs, and client feedback
Drive your own van to various locations, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with clean driving record
Experience in window cleaning or related customer service roles is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with clients
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently
Reliable transportation (van) and equipment suitable for window cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including lifting equipment and working at heights if necessary

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
