Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team! In this role, you will lead the delivery of exceptional hairdressing services, mentor junior staff, and elevate the overall client experience. Your expertise in various styling techniques, customer service excellence, and store management will drive our salon’s success. Duties

Perform a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments with precision and flair
Deliver outstanding customer service by actively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations
Manage front desk responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Mentor and train junior stylists and apprentices to develop their technical skills and professionalism
Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, makeup application, or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the salon environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a senior hairdresser with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
Expertise in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is highly desirable
Demonstrated store management skills including scheduling, inventory control, and team coordination
Exceptional communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously
Ability to mentor and motivate junior staff while fostering a positive team environment
Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
