Based at our contemporary head office and distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been established for over 150 years proudly serving communities across the north of England as supplier and distributor to over 450 SPAR stores.

Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Pay rate: £12.75 p/h (21+)
About the Role
The Kettle House is our in-house canteen that serves our employees, visitors and organises the catering for any hospitality events we might have.

What will I be doing?

Serve food and beverages to staff or visitors in the Kettle House.
Till operation taking cash and cashless payment.
Stock replenishment and merchandising.
Ensure all departmental standards including customer service, health & safety and food hygiene are maintained.
General cleaning, housekeeping, and washing pots.
Comply with all departmental and company policies regarding food safety, health, and safety, COSHH, Safe Systems of Work, fire and ammonia evacuation procedures.
Undertaking company training in regard to food safety.
