Full job description

This role is open for applications from students who are looking to complete a placement year as part of their undergraduate degree programme.

This is a hybrid role 3 days in the office per week in Chorley (PR6 7BX). Applicant must be able to comfortably commute.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant (Student Placement) to support our marketing and sales teams in producing engaging marketing materials and content. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and build practical marketing skills in a commercial environment.

What you’ll be doing

Creating brochures, product literature and case studies
Producing content for social media and the company website
Designing sales presentations and marketing materials using Canva
Writing clear, persuasive copy across multiple platforms
Supporting exhibitions and working closely with the sales team

About you

Currently studying Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related degree
Strong copywriting and communication skills
Confident using Canva and Microsoft 365
Creative, organised, and detail‑focused
Able to work independently and as part of a team
