Allied Vehicles, Fix Auto Wigan are hiring for a Valeter to join our award-winning team.

You will carry out duties allied to processing and delivery of vehicles in a clean and acceptable condition after completion of repair work.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm and the salary is £13.45 per hour.

The main duties of the role are:

Clean vehicles in line with company standards with the appropriate materials.
Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate.
Complete all company documentation.
Report all vehicle faults to the supervisor.
Clean upholstery and carpets when required.
Use and maintain company tools and equipment in a safe, clean and workable condition.
Comply with all legislation respecting the control of hazardous substances and control of organic solvents.

To be effective in this role, you will have:

Knowledge of safe working practices e.g. working safely with cleaning materials.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Previous experience of driving and cleaning vehicles.
Good attention to detail.

A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
