HoneyShade Restaurant **NEW OPENING**

Bayswater, London W2 3SY

SALES & EVENTS MANAGER – FULL TIME, PERMANENT

£50,000 per annum + commission

Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, with some evening attendance required to welcome clients at events.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a Sales & Events Manager, Events Sales Manager or Business Development role within restaurants, hospitality or a premium events environment
A strong new business development background with demonstrable experience proactively generating leads and securing new events
Confidence building relationships with corporate clients, private clients, event planners, agencies and local businesses
Experience managing enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed booking
Strong knowledge and previous experience using SevenRooms
A commercial mindset with the confidence to negotiate, convert enquiries and maximise event revenue
Work towards agreed sales and revenue targets
Experience conducting show rounds, preparing proposals and following up prospective clients
Excellent organisation and attention to detail when coordinating multiple bookings and events
Confident communication skills and a warm, polished approach with clients
The ability to work closely with the restaurant and operations teams to ensure events are delivered exactly as agreed
Comfortable attending selected evening events to welcome clients and ensure a smooth handover to the operational team

The role:

As Sales & Events Manager, you will be responsible for driving event revenue into HoneyShade and building a strong pipeline of new business.
This is not simply an events coordination role. A key part of the position will be proactively finding and converting new business, developing relationships and creating opportunities to bring corporate events, private dining, celebrations and group bookings into the restaurant.
You will manage the full sales journey, from prospecting and initial enquiry through to proposals, site visits, booking confirmation and client handover.
You will also maintain existing client relationships, encourage repeat business and identify opportunities to grow the restaurant’s events calendar.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, although you will occasionally attend evening events to personally welcome clients and ensure everything is set up for a successful event.
