Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Deputy Manager to support the effective operation of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a background in teaching or training. This role involves assisting the Manager in overseeing daily activities, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and fostering a positive environment for staff and clients alike. The Deputy Manager will play a vital part in maintaining organisational efficiency and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Support staff management, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures.
Lead by example in delivering exceptional service standards to clients or students.
Organise and oversee programmes or activities, ensuring they meet organisational objectives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support teaching initiatives where applicable, contributing to curriculum development or training sessions.
Handle customer or client enquiries professionally, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an educational or organisational setting.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Experience in teaching or training is highly desirable, with a passion for professional development.
Proficiency in organisational software and basic administrative tasks.
