Location: White Horse Medical Practice, Rural Oxfordshire (within easy reach of Swindon and Oxford)

Salary: From £12.71 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time or Temporary

About the Role

White Horse Medical Practice is a friendly, growing GP practice based in rural Oxfordshire. We are looking to recruit a proactive, enthusiastic and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our clinical team.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care through face-to-face consultations, supporting the clinical team in delivering excellent services to our patients.

Please note: Phlebotomy experience is essential for this role

Undertake venepuncture (phlebotomy) clinics.
Carry out a range of Health Care Assistant duties within primary care.
Support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Provide compassionate, professional care to all patients.
Work collaboratively as part of the practice team.

Person Specification

Essential

Phlebotomy experience
At least 1 years’ experience as a Health Care Assistant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, caring and patient-focused approach.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
GCSEs (or equivalent).

Desirable

Previous experience working within a GP practice.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Day shifts
No weekends
Full-time or part-time hours available
