Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
Manage stock levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders when necessary.
Utilise IT systems for record keeping and appointment management.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within the dental field.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant nursing qualifications.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for patients.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate interaction with patients and the dental team.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
