Location: Altham, Lancashire (with travel as required)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Operating from our head office in Lancashire, we deliver a nationwide service supported by a network of more than 100 accredited partners across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated individual with strong mechanical and electrical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.

We are looking for an Installation Engineer who has a hands-on approach to all tasks with the ability to fault-find and problem solve in a fast-paced reactive environment.

The successful candidate will be required to work on and off site (when working off-site, this will be in the North West of England) installing a variety of vehicle adaptations including seating solutions, driving controls and stowage devices.

Key Responsibilities

o Install a wide range of mechanical and electrical vehicle adaptations both in our workshop and at customer locations.

o Manufacture and fit bespoke solutions to enhance customer independence.

o Diagnose and repair faults on mobility equipment and vehicle adaptations.

o Demonstrate completed adaptations to customers and provide guidance on their use.

o Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Be organised, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Have strong communication and customer service skills.
Possess experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.
Have a good working knowledge of workshop equipment, tools, and machinery.
Understand and adhere to health and safety requirements.
Hold a full UK driving licence.

Experience in the automotive or mobility industry would be advantageous, however full training will be provided.
