Full job description

Job Overview
We are looking to add an experienced fabricator/welder to our team. The ideal applicant will be able to work with a variety of materials, including sheet metal, and will have a solid understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes. In order to assemble and create components in accordance with requirements.

Duties

Operate welding equipment, including Tig, Mig and MMA welding, to join metal parts and components.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Utilise basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Work with various materials to produce products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Maintain and operate tools safely and effectively.
Perform routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
Ability to work with different materials is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks.
