Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our fully private dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and dental health to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including sedation, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment
Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment care instructions, answering any questions they may have
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentally systems.
Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient correspondence
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and clear explanations throughout treatments
Support the practice in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is essential
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and practice management software
Strong organisational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professionalism at all times
Relevant NEBDN/NVQ qualifications
