Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner (part-time) to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for cleanliness and previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services.

Must live local, have at least 2 years office cleaning experience, be able to set a security alarm and lock up when needed, have an enhanced DBS and be reliable.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising office spaces, restrooms, and common areas
Empty waste bins and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored appropriately after use
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination
Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning duties to the relevant department
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable with a professional attitude and excellent time management skills
