Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and leadership skills within a vibrant hospitality environment. The Chef will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
Develop and innovate menu items in collaboration with management
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Assist in serving customers during peak hours when necessary
Monitor quality control to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with team management capabilities
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Experience in menu development and food presentation
Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
