CARE COORDINATOR – HOMECARE / DOMICILIARY CARE
Salary: £32,000 per annum, plus additional on-call payments
Contract: Permanent
Locations: Bearsden or Clydebank
Vacancies: Two positions available
-
One Care Coordinator based in our Bearsden office, responsible for East Dunbartonshire & Glasgow
-
One Care Coordinator based in our Clydebank office, responsible for West Dunbartonshire
BUILD YOUR TEAM. TAKE OWNERSHIP OF YOUR AREA. SHAPE THE FUTURE OF LOCAL HOMECARE.
Are you an experienced Care Coordinator looking for an opportunity where you can take genuine ownership of your own geographical area?
Do you want to move away from coordinating several mixed locations and instead develop a dedicated local team, build stronger relationships and have more time to get your rotas right?
Alltogether Care Services is creating dedicated geographical teams across East and West Dunbartonshire. We are looking for two experienced and ambitious Care Coordinators to join us at the beginning of this exciting new chapter.
Each Care Coordinator will be responsible for their own area and supported by dedicated Care Team Leads, Care Pro Leads and Care Professionals.
This is an opportunity to build a team you can be proud of, develop your area and influence how high-quality homecare is delivered.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Care Coordinator, you will take ownership of the safe, effective and reliable delivery of homecare services within your assigned geographical area.
You will know your staff, understand the needs of your Service Users and become a consistent point of contact for families and professionals.
Rather than coordinating multiple areas, you will be able to focus your time and attention on one local team. This will allow you to plan proactively, improve communication, strengthen continuity and create rotas that work for both staff and Service Users.
You will work closely with your dedicated Care Team Leads, who will provide field-based support, supervise staff and help maintain quality standards across your area.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
-
Take ownership of homecare scheduling and service delivery within your geographical area
-
Create, maintain and communicate staff rotas
-
Ensure all scheduled visits are safely and effectively covered
-
Match Care Professionals with Service Users to promote compatibility and continuity
-
Build and develop a reliable local care team
-
Support staff engagement, availability and retention
-
Communicate directly with Care Professionals about their schedules and working arrangements
-
Respond quickly and calmly to sickness, emergencies and unexpected rota changes
-
Work closely with Care Team Leads to resolve local staffing and service issues
-
Develop strong relationships with Service Users, families and external professionals
-
Ensure Service Users are kept informed about changes affecting their care
-
Monitor local staffing capacity and identify opportunities for growth
-
Work collaboratively with recruitment to fill vacancies within your area
-
Support the onboarding and allocation of new Care Professionals
-
Proactively identify gaps and minimise disruption to care delivery
-
Support staff compliance, appraisals, quality monitoring and development
-
Maintain accurate electronic schedules, records and communications
-
Support personal care visits when operationally required
-
Participate in a rotational out-of-hours on-call roster
-
Work with the management team to improve and grow the service

-
Support existing care packages and help the service grow
-
Influence recruitment and staff allocation within your area
-
