The Role: Scenic Project Manager

We’re growing - and we’re looking for a Scenic Project Manager to join our ambitious and supportive team.

This is a hands-on, creative role. You’ll play a key role in shaping projects from the ground up — contributing ideas, advising on construction methods, and ensuring the final build is both practical and visually stunning.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play an essential role in ensuring that our projects run smoothly. You will:

Lead projects through the workshop – collaborate closely with clients and brief in-house designers, Production Managers, and Crew to ensure seamless production
Own the project – act as the central point of contact, directing information clearly and confidently across both internal teams and external partners
Drive the full project lifecycle – take briefs from initial concept and quoting all the way through to final delivery, ensuring every detail is considered
Keep communication flowing – ensure all stakeholders are informed throughout, managing schedules, evolving scopes, and adapting to changes as needed
Be hands-on onsite – Attend installs to lead and oversee the build, ensuring quality, safety, and design intent are maintained
Control the numbers – take charge of your budgets, manage costs proactively, and protect project margins with a commercial, solution-focused mindset

What We're Looking For

We’re after someone with the confidence, creativity, and construction knowledge to hit the ground running. You’ll need:

3–5 years’ experience in scenic or event construction project management
A proven track record of quoting and delivering high-end, bespoke scenic builds
Strong technical understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes
Confidence working from and with technical drawings (AutoCAD or similar)
A calm, methodical approach – especially under pressure and tight deadlines
A keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent organisational skills
A passion for sustainable practices and innovative, low-impact builds
