Head Chef – Casa Bianca Restaurants

At Casa Bianca, we are more than just restaurants we are a proud Italian family-run business built on passion, tradition, hard work, and la dolce vita.

From our kitchens to our front-of-house teams, family values are at the heart of everything we do. With five successful restaurants across Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd, Abergavenny, Usk, and Whitney-on-Wye, we have created warm, welcoming places where guests can enjoy great food, great service, and a true Italian atmosphere.

We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join the Casa Bianca family at one of our locations and help take our kitchens to the next level.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will:

Work closely with the Area Manager to help improve kitchen standards, food quality, and performance
Lead and inspire your kitchen team with positivity and energy
Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Manage stock levels, ordering, and food cost control
Create staff rotas and ensure efficient scheduling
Maintain exceptional standards of food preparation and presentation
Ensure full compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
Train and develop kitchen staff to reach their full potential
Deliver authentic Italian dishes with passion and consistency
Support the continued growth of our family business

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant environment
Is confident managing teams, rotas, stock, and food costs
Leads by example and enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen
Has strong organisational and communication skills
Brings passion, creativity, and pride into every dish
Understands the importance of teamwork, family values, and customer experience
Shares our love for Italian food and genuine hospitality
Holds a full UK driving licence (preferred), as the role may involve supporting multiple sites
