ESL Engineering Ltd is a leading precision engineering and steel fabrication company based in Coleraine. We specialise in high-quality manufacturing solutions including profile cutting, folding, rolling, welding, and precision machining, supplying a wide range of industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Welder to join our team.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Fabricate and assemble steel components to required specifications
- Perform MIG welding (primarily mild steel, with occasional heavier sections)
- Inspect work using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality
- Meet production targets while maintaining workmanship standards
- Ensure safe handling and movement of materials and components
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop
Experience & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in fabrication/welding or relevant experience
- Experience in MIG welding and general fabrication
- Competent in measuring and marking out
- Experience working with jigs and fixtures
- Understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities
- Experience in a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment is desirable
