Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a flair for creating stylish and personalised looks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where creativity and professionalism are highly valued. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing top-quality hair services, building lasting client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Duties

Perform a variety of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and styling to meet client preferences
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional advice, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining the cleanliness of the salon environment.
Upsell products and additional services to maximise client experience and salon revenue.
Mentor junior team members and assist with store management tasks when required.
Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling and beauty treatments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
Skills in store management, mentoring, and upselling are desirable.
Additional expertise in eyelash extensions and makeup application is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
A recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering from an accredited institution.
