Forbes Nursery is a long-established, family-run nursery based in the Bruntsfield and Leith areas of Edinburgh. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each child. Our approach centres on outdoor play and creating enriching experiences that expand children’s knowledge and understanding of the world.

We are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic practitioners to join our Leith team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, nurturing environment that values professional development and promotes from within.

What We’re Looking For:

A relevant childcare qualification – SVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years' experience in an early years setting
A solid working knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence
Awareness of Building the Ambition and GIRFEC frameworks
Experience with Learning Journals (preferred but not essential)
Membership or willingness to join the PVG Scheme and SSSC (support available post-interview)
