Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Head Housekeeper / Duty Manager to lead our housekeeping team across a portfolio of airbnb/short-term let properties and commercial sites.

This role combines cleaning, team supervision, and day-to-day coordination to ensure all properties are maintained to a consistently high standard. You will be the main point of contact for housekeepers, to manage rotas, carry out audits, and support the team on-site when required.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and organising staff rotas across multiple sites
Acting as the main point of contact for the housekeeping team
Overseeing cleans for short-term lets and commercial properties
Carrying out regular property checks and quality audits
Ensuring all properties meet company and client standards
Supporting the team with cleaning duties when required
Managing linen stock and coordinating laundry schedules
Reporting maintenance issues or damages promptly
Liaising with management and clients where required

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or short-term lets (essential 3-4 years)
Experience supervising or managing a team (essential 2 years)
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and standards
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Flexible and reliable approach to working hours
Full UK driving licence (essential )
