JMKB Infrastructure Limited is looking for an experienced and reliable Self-Employed Groundworker to join our expanding team. We deliver high-quality infrastructure and groundworks across residential developments, commercial sites and domestic projects throughout the East Midlands.
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and professionalism.
Key Duties
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Drainage installation
- Block paving
- Kerbing
- General groundworks
- Site preparation and finishing works
- Working on residential developments and domestic projects
- Working safely and effectively as part of a team
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- CIS Registration (Self-Employed)
- Proven experience in drainage, block paving and kerbing
- A valid CSCS Card
- A full UK driving licence and own vehicle/transport (essential)
- Good knowledge of construction Health & Safety
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent reliability, timekeeping and a positive attitude
Desirable Qualifications & Tickets
Candidates holding one or more of the following will be at an advantage:
- Experience laying tarmac
- Above/Below 10 Tonne 360 Excavator (NPORS or CPCS)
- Below 5 Tonne 360 Excavator
- CAT & Genny
- Forward Tipping Dumper
- Telehandler
- Ride-on Roller
Enhanced DBS Check - Due to the nature of some of our projects, an Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance where applicable.
