Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with young people, providing tailored support in various subjects, and fostering a positive learning environment. Experience with special education is highly valued, as we aim to cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in designated subjects
Develop customised lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each student
Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
Foster a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding progress and challenges
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience

Experience

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is desirable
Familiarity with special education practices is advantageous
Proven experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and engage students
Ability to build rapport with students and create a trusting relationship
Full driving licence essential
