Full job description

Location: Congleton, Cheshire (note that this is an office-based role).
Pay & Contract: £12.71/hour, 16hrs per week (weekdays), flexible hours to be agreed with line manager on appointment.

Job Description

A job at EPIC.LAN will mean getting involved in many areas of the business at times as we are such a small organisation, there are some really exciting projects already in the pipeline for 2026. We will be looking for a team member who is flexible and happy to work on a range of tasks as the business requires. The key parts of this role will:

· Provide general administrative support to team members.

· Handle incoming phone calls and email enquiries.

· Maintain filing systems (paper and electronic) .

· Support meeting minutes, agendas and action tracking.

· Support team financial record keeping and data entry, e.g. processing of receipts, expenses, income and invoices.

· Support customer enquiries and refund requests.

· Support scheduling and diary management.

· Support the wider EPIC.LAN business as required in line with the nature and scope of the role.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will fulfil the following criteria:

(E) – Good written and verbal English skills

(E) – Highly organised with the ability to manage own workload within a framework of regular tasks

(E) – Good communication skills

(E) – Good numeracy skills

(E) – High attention to detail and accuracy

(E) – Thorough understanding of Office software (including Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite) as well as generally strong computer skills for a range of other software packages.

(E) – Ability to work with a team and independently when required

(D) – Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
