Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blind and Shutter Installer and Manufacturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining a variety of blinds and shutters in residential and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction or related trades to utilise their technical skills in a specialised field. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Fabricate custom blinds and shutters according to client specifications
Install blinds and shutters on windows, doors, and other designated areas with precision
Measure accurately to ensure proper fitment and functionality of products
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and effectively
Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on installed products
Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and provide professional advice on product selection
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards

Skills

Proven experience in related trades is advantageous
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Ability to interpret construction plans and schematics accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measurement and installation tasks
Good physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at heights if required
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot installation issues effectively
