Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication, looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG/MAG welding and other welding techniques on structural steel.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
Fabricate parts according to technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
Assist in the assembly process by fitting and securing fabricated parts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards.

Experience

Proven experience in MIG/MAG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication tasks.
Mechanical knowledge of metal properties and fabrication processes.
Experience working with sheet metal and performing basic assembly tasks.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
Familiarity with using various fabrication tools and equipment is desirable. This role is ideal for dedicated individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship and are committed to producing high-quality work within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: £19.00-£25.00 per hour
