Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated BOH (Back of House) Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
Support cooking processes, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure compliance with health regulations
Stock ingredients and supplies, alerting management when stock levels are low
Support the team in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and effective communication between front and back of house staff
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable
Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
Prior culinary or kitchen experience will support successful integration into the team and career development within the hospitality sector

Pay: £12.71-£13.95 per hour
