Full job description

SHOP ASSISTANT / BARISTA

Maternity Cover

This position is full-time temporary and not suitable for students.

4 Days Per Week

(Including occasional Saturdays)

We are seeking applications for our bustling Bakery & Coffee House.

Duties Include

Serving customers at our bakery and deli counters
Preparing sandwiches, wraps and other deli items
Assisting with deli preparation
Making hot and cold drinks (Barista training will be provided)
Stocking and replenishing bakery displays
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the premises

Working Hours

Opening hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday. Shifts will be worked on a rota basis with staggered start times and will include occasional Saturdays.

Friendly and professional manner
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and flexible approach to work

Desirable

Previous coffee shop, café, bakery or food service experience.
