Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for passionate Food Production Assistants to join our expanding teams in our Magherafelt and Maghera based kitchens!

Roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of food items in line with company recipes and specifications
- Operate basic food production equipment safely and efficiently
- Weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients accurately
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas
- Follow food safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Support packaging, labelling, and dispatch of finished products
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors
- Assist with stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory control
- Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a food production, catering, or cooking environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP awareness preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and carry out manual tasks
