Full job description

JOIN THE TEAM!
We are looking for a member of staff to join our team at The Red Box Of Harrogate Ltd, 4 days and every other Saturday. Good Post Office experience with both back and front office is desirable but optional. Being able to work without direct supervision will be ideal. The shift pattern for this role is Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday. Tuesday , Wenesday , Thursday and Friday 9am till 17:30 pm, and Saturday, 9am till 13:00 pm. (Additional hours and days may be required to support during holiday times and busy times.)

We operate and provide post office services across our local communities in Bilton and Starbeck. Our branches provide a wide range of services to the communities, including selling locally sourced gifts and greeting cards.

Responsibilities:

Serve customers using the post office in an efficient manner
Be customer focused.
Ensure stock required for sale/use is available for customers.
Able to work with own initiative
Understand basic bookkeeping procedures.
Understand basic office equipment such as the telephone,cash till, computer, etc.
Be computer literate

In addition to carrying out Post Office duties you will help support our retail business by

Replenishing stock
Serving on the shop counter, with a can do, positive attitude.
Displaying friendly customer service skills
Basic cleaning and up keeping look of shop

Job Type: Permanent
