JD Winter Ltd, a well-established plumbing company based in Durham, England, is seeking a proactive and motivated Office-Based Administrator to join our team. As the backbone of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our business.

Position: Full-Time Office-Based Administrator

Responsibilities:

Diary Management: Efficiently organize and maintain the diary of our plumbers and technicians, ensuring their schedules are optimized for maximum efficiency.

Invoicing: Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers based on completed services, ensuring all relevant details are included.

Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing outstanding service.

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, appointments, and invoices to ensure clear and accurate documentation.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the office and management team, including data entry, filing, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers and internal team members effectively.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to maintain accurate records and produce error-free invoices.
Customer-Focused: A friendly and professional demeanor when communicating with customers, promoting a positive company image.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using office software, such as spreadsheets, word processing, and invoicing tools.
Experience: Prior experience in an office-based administrative or customer service role is desirable, but not essential.
Location: Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Durham, England.
