Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, providing expert care to patients of all ages. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values professional development, patient-centred care, and effective communication. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and a good understanding of IT systems relevant to healthcare. Experience in teaching or mentoring junior staff is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with foot, ankle, and lower limb issues.
Develop personalised treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and patient needs.
Perform various podiatric procedures including wound care, nail surgeries, and orthotic fittings.
Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and management strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Stay informed about the latest developments in podiatry through continuous professional development.
Contribute to the organisation’s teaching initiatives by mentoring students or junior staff when required.

Experience

Proven experience working as a Podiatrist in a clinical setting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients.
Fluency in English is essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Proficiency in IT systems utilised within healthcare environments, including EHR software.
Experience in teaching or mentoring is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to share knowledge is valued. This role provides an excellent platform for professional growth within a dynamic healthcare environment committed to delivering high-quality patient care through skilled practitioners.
