Set within the stunning historic surroundings of Colles Hall in the heart of Melton Mowbray, The Eden is a unique destination where people come to meet, work, relax and socialise.
By day, we serve exceptional coffee, brunch and light dining in a beautifully designed space that welcomes remote workers, business meetings and community gatherings.
By night, The Eden transforms into an elegant lounge offering cocktails, events and memorable experiences.
We are looking for an exceptional venue Manager to lead our flagship venue and help create one of the most exciting hospitality destinations in the region.
The Role
As venue Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance and culture of The Eden.
You will inspire your team, deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure the venue operates to the highest standards across coffee, food, events and evening service.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in hospitality and genuinely enjoys building teams and creating experiences people talk about.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences every day
- Drive sales growth and profitability
- Manage labour costs, stock control and operational performance
- Recruit, train and develop team members
- Oversee coffee, brunch and evening cocktail operations
- Build relationships within the local community and business networks
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service
- Support the planning and delivery of events and special occasions
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and licensing requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience within hospitality
- Experience managing cafés, restaurants, bars or premium hospitality venues
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial awareness and understanding of profit and loss performance
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Passion for coffee, food, hospitality and customer service
- A proactive, positive and hands-on approach
