Role Overview

Sentinel Data Solutions Ltd is a leading provider of Hosted IT support solutions. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and keeping the customer at the centre of everything we do at Sentinel and across the wider CS Group.

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, proactive, and customer focused Sales Support Administrator at the heart of the sales team, supporting sales and order delivery with excellent customer service. The primary point of non-technical contact for customers, ensuring positive customer experience throughout.

The Sales Support Administrator provides essential operational, administrative, and commercial support to the Sales Director and wider sales team. The purpose of the role is to reduce operational bottlenecks, improve CRM and pipeline accuracy, centralise administrative tasks, and ensure consistent, high-quality sales execution across Sentinel and across the wider CS Group.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

First point of contact for Sales and non-support enquiries
Process and follow Sales orders through management system to completion
Prepare quotations and assist with opportunity documentation
Existing business contract renewals and revenue adjustments
Ownership of sales ledger processing across the wider group
Act as first-line triage for customer concerns and escalation
Raise tickets into support for technical queries
Own day-to-day CRM management, data hygiene, and process consistency
Update and maintain product catalogue content
Support the Sales Director and Sales Department activities and schedules
Support and develop monthly KPI reporting
Provide operational and administrative support across the wider group
Develop product and service knowledge to increase customer facing effectiveness
Build internal relationships for smooth sales order delivery to maximize customer experience

Required Skills, Attributes & Experience Required:

Proven strong experience in administration
Experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills
Have an interest in technology, IT or telecoms
High level of IT literacy - proficient with MS Office and MS Outlook
Strong CRM system capability
Detailed orientated
Team player who is effective and positive communicator
High level of organisational and multitasking skills
Dynamic self-starter with a “can-do”, problem solving attitude
Ability to interpret data and build reporting

Desirable skills:

Previous technology, IT or telecoms industry experience
CRM / ERP experience (ConnectWise, Copy Control, Salesforce)
Project administration and production of RAMS, WBS and Scheduling
Sales Ledger and accounts systems (ConnectWise, Xero)

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: up to £28,000 per year (Depending on experience)
Core hours Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
On-site parking
