We have offices globally, but our Head Office and factory is based in Castle Donington, where our highly knowledgeable teams are responsible for the design, development, and production of all of our metrology products against strict industry standards.
What are we looking for?
Due to business growth, we are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant, to join our busy, friendly team. In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-today-financial operations of the business. You will have a particular focus on purchase ledger processing, supplier communications and maintaining accurate financial records across the group
Your main duties as a Finance Assistant will include:
· Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently (multi-currency)
· Managing accounts payable ledgers and shared finance mailboxes
· Acting as a key point of contact for supplier queries via phone and email
· Preparing supplier payment run proposals for review and approval
· Performing supplier statement reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
· Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions in line with company policy
· Liaising with colleagues across multiple group companies on finance-related matters
· Assisting with general finance administration and ad hoc departmental tasks as required

Our ideal applicant for the position of Finance Assistant will be able to demonstrate the following as part of their application and interview process:
· Previous experience gained in a busy finance/accounts environment
· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
· Experience using ERP/accounting systems
· Experience in process and systems improvement
· Professional and approachable manner
· Confident in dealing with suppliers/customer queries
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
· The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
