Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing exceptional front-desk support and administrative assistance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting various administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Previous office experience and strong computer skills are highly desirable for this position.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using digital calendars
Perform data entry tasks accurately using our integrative crm system
Maintain organised filing systems both electronically and physically
Assist with administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing documents for senior personnel
Handle correspondence via email and postal mail efficiently
Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative background preferred but not essential
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail - essential
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and Sage
Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
This role offers an opportunity to develop your administrative skills within a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to their work.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
