Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional hair styling, colouring, and grooming services, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including specialised skills such as eyelash extensions and makeup application. A friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills are essential to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and grooming tailored to individual client needs
Offer specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction
Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment
Manage front desk duties, including appointment scheduling and client consultations
Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client experience and salon revenue
Mentor junior staff or apprentices, sharing expertise in store management, barbering, and customer service
Build strong relationships with clients through personalised consultations and attentive service
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge in the hairdressing industry

Experience

Proven experience as a Hairdresser within a professional salon environment
Skills in store management and retail upselling are advantageous
Barbering experience is desirable but not essential
Demonstrated expertise in eyelash extensions and makeup application preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
Experience in mentoring junior team members or apprentices is a plus
Excellent organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently and maintain a welcoming salon atmosphere

Pay: £80.00-£110.00 per day
