Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant -
Actual Salary: £17,942-£19,313 approx per annum

30 hrs per week. Monday - Friday Term Time only

9.00 - 3.00pm daily.

Start date: September 2026

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract until the end of the academic year (Mat leave cover) with the possibility of an extension or a permanent contract. Start date 1st September 2026

Job role

We are very excited to offer the opportunity for an appropriately qualified, experienced and inspiring learning support assistant to join our new school which opened to pupils in the summer term 2022. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of supporting pupils with special educational needs within the secondary phase and ideally evidence of working with children with SEMH.

The Haven Wolston has been judged as good in all areas following an OFSTED inspection in March 2023.

The post represents an incredible opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a highly unique SEND setting. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who thrives on working in a challenging but equally immensely rewarding environment, who is passionate about the development of our pupils, who truly wants to make a difference to the lives of our young people.

About The Haven School Wolston

Our School is an independent school which is situated in a beautiful rural location in the Warwickshire countryside. Our core aim is to offer a highly bespoke education to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing and life chances of vulnerable children who struggle in a mainstream educational setting. The School caters for up to 40 students.

The School caters for pupils with SEMH, Autism and ADHD from a number of local authorities and schools and provide them will a highly specialist and individualised educational experience to allow them to overcome their barriers to learning. We are looking to appoint an individual who shares our unflinching commitment to providing the young people we will serve with the best possible future life chances.
