As we continue to grow, we are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Operations & Compliance Coordinator to help ensure our operational processes, governance, and compliance standards remain robust and effective.

The Role

The Business Operations & Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation while ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will coordinate business operations, maintain quality assurance systems, support governance activities, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor business operations across the organisation.
Maintain organisational policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
Support regulatory compliance, including preparation for inspections and audits.
Monitor statutory training, mandatory certifications, and compliance deadlines.
Assist with quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Produce reports, dashboards, and operational performance data.
Support contract management and service delivery monitoring.
Coordinate organisational meetings, record accurate minutes, and track actions.
Assist with risk management, business continuity planning, and governance activities.
Ensure accurate record keeping in accordance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
Contribute to project coordination and organisational development initiatives.

About You

You are highly organised, solutions-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy improving systems and processes while ensuring high standards of compliance and operational excellence.

Essential Criteria

Experience in business operations, compliance, governance, or administration.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience maintaining policies, procedures, and compliance records.
Good analytical skills with experience producing reports and interpreting data.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Desirable

Experience within health, social care, charity, or community sectors.
Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, or quality assurance frameworks.
Understanding of GDPR and information governance.
Project coordination experience.
Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Operations, Compliance, or a related field.
