Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sports Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. The successful candidate will provide specialised massage therapy aimed at enhancing athletic performance, accelerating recovery, and preventing injuries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment committed to client wellbeing and holistic health.

Responsibilities

Deliver customised sports massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, focusing on muscle recovery, flexibility, and injury prevention.
Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their health history to determine appropriate therapy plans.
Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching routines, and injury prevention strategies.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times.
Stay informed about the latest techniques and developments in sports massage therapy through ongoing professional development.
Collaborate with other health professionals to optimise client care when necessary.

Requirements

recognised qualification in Sports Massage Therapy or equivalent professional certification.
Proven experience in delivering sports massage treatments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and client confidentiality.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and injury prevention techniques relevant to athletes is desirable but not mandatory. This role offers an engaging environment where you can utilise your skills to make a positive impact on clients’ health and performance while advancing your career within the wellness industry.
