Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and maintaining various metal components and structures in accordance with technical specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication to contribute to high-quality projects within a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for candidates who are committed to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.

Initial contract of 3 months with the possibility of employment on a permanent basis

Rates will be negotiable depending on experience.

Duties

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding procedures to produce accurate fabrications
Perform welding using various techniques such as FCAW and GMAW.
Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using appropriate tools and machinery
Collaborate with project managers to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed on time
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or related mechanical roles with a strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings
Proficiency in welding techniques such as FCAW and GMAW
Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and quality assurance processes
