Administrator / Finance Assistant

Location: Belfast International Airport (BFS), Crumlin

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week (Flexitime available around core business hours)

Operating from our strategic hub at Belfast International Airport, the Group delivers fully integrated aerospace solutions through three key subsidiaries: Jet Assist (VIP executive handling and FBO services), 247 Aviation (private charter and contracted aeromedical operations, including the Northern Ireland Fixed Wing Air Ambulance and NHS organ transplant retrieval), and 247 Aircraft Maintenance (specialist Part 145 base and line engineering).

We are seeking enthusiastic, detail-focused Administrators to join our busy airport finance team. This is a high-impact role with clear pathways for professional development as our multi-entity aviation network continues to grow.

The Role

Working closely with the Group Finance Director, you will ensure our multi-entity financial operations run with precision. You will manage daily transactional ledgers, maintain tight reconciliation controls, and support month-end reporting across our fast-growing aviation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase & Sales Ledger: Accurately match, code, and process high-volume supplier invoices; issue customer billing invoices; and swiftly resolve ledger queries.
Reconciliations & Banking: Complete daily/weekly bank balance verifications, credit card reconciliations, and supplier statement checks.
Credit Control Support: Monitor aged debtor reports, issue customer statements, and conduct professional, proactive credit control communications.
Part 145 Maintenance Administrative Support: maintain digital audit trails, and provide agile administrative assistance across the maintenance department.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Criteria:

Minimum 5 GCSEs (grades A*–C / 4–9) including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
12+ months of hands-on experience in a finance, accounts, or high-volume administrative role.
Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel and Word).
High numerical accuracy, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive, well-organised approach to deadlines.
Valid driving licence and daily access to reliable private transport for commuting to our base at Belfast International Airport.

Desirable Criteria:

Practical experience working with accounting / maintenance software (e.g., Sage, Xero, CAFAM, Corridor or equivalent packages).
Prior working experience within an aviation, logistics, transport, or engineering environment.
