The Role/Candidate
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious field salesperson to drive continued growth within the North East region.
The salesperson will have responsibility for winning new contracts for the service and maintenance of industrial doors, loading bay equipment, high speed doors, and selling BID Group premium products to end users and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the National Field Sales Manager to identify, develop and grow sales opportunities across the region while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Prospecting and cold calling to build and develop a strong sales pipeline within the territory.
- Supporting customers in selecting the correct equipment design and applications to maximise productivity and safety.
- Preparing quotations and defining customer orders using accurate specifications and sizing to ensure smooth internal order processing.
- Visiting customer sites to carry out site surveys, gathering accurate information and ensuring all preparations are in place for successful installation.
- Assisting with the planning and support of on-site installations where required.
- Growing the regional service contract customer base.
- Working towards agreed targets and KPI’s while contributing to overall business growth.
This is a varied role involving a combination of customer site visits, home working and time spent within the regional office. You will be fully supported by an experienced sales team and a knowledgeable technical service department, providing the tools and expertise needed to succeed.
Industry experience is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the industry and be motivated, organised, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a strong drive to develop business opportunities and achieve results.

Hours/Location/Salary
Location : Operating across the North East region
Salary: Competitive salary and negotiable for the right candidate (depending on experience)
Hours Of Work: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (Field/Remote working)
