Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Print Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production of printed materials, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining efficient workflow. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Operate various printing and finishing equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards
Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
Conduct quality checks on printed products to meet specifications
Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, repairs, or adjustments of printing components
Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently
Support fabrication tasks such as cutting, sewing, or assembling printed items as required
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot printing machinery
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
Experience in sewing or fabricating materials is desirable but not essential
Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory management and logistics
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout shifts
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in quality control processes
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment

This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a busy production environment while developing their technical skills. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience within the print manufacturing industry.

Pay: £12.71-£13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
