Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a care home registered for individuals aged 16 and over, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality assisted living and nursing care, specialising in dementia and Alzheimer's care. This role requires strong leadership, management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of care regulations to maintain excellent service delivery within a regulated environment. The Registered Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining the home's reputation for exceptional person-centred care, fostering a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements including Ofsted standards.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
Supervise and support staff team members, providing leadership, training, and performance management to ensure high standards of care.
Monitor quality assurance processes, conducting audits and implementing improvements where necessary.
Maintain effective communication with residents' families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to promote collaborative care.
Ensure the safety of all residents by adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently to optimise operational effectiveness.

Experience

Proven management experience within a care home setting or similar senior care environment.
Extensive knowledge of assisted living, nursing home operations, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and home care services.
Experience in developing and overseeing care plans tailored to complex needs such as dementia or neurological conditions.
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience in a regulated care environment.
Familiarity with medication administration procedures within a residential or nursing context.
Knowledge of relevant legislation including CQC/Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively whilst maintaining high standards of person-centred care. Pay: £30,269.20-£38,000.00 per year
