Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Mixologist/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional drinks and providing outstanding customer service in a lively bar environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely
Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed throughout shifts
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behaviour and adhering to licensing laws

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is highly desirable, with knowledge of food safety standards
Familiarity with serving techniques, cocktail mixing, and bar equipment operation
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations will be considered an advantage
