Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field, whether you are starting your career or seeking to enhance your skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking and serving.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by providing assistance as needed.
Ensure all kitchen waste is disposed of properly and that recycling protocols are followed.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as required.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous.
Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
