Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Live-in Housekeeper to provide comprehensive domestic support within a private residence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment, ensuring the smooth running of household tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the household, delivering personalised service and contributing to a harmonious living space. The position requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

Performing general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organising living spaces to ensure cleanliness and tidiness.
Assisting with laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation to maintain clothing and linen in pristine condition.
Preparing meals and snacks as required, demonstrating cooking skills to meet household preferences.
Providing exceptional customer service by anticipating household needs and responding promptly and courteously.
Managing household supplies inventory and restocking essentials as needed.
Maintaining the organisation of storage areas, pantries, and other household spaces.
Supporting with light administrative tasks related to household management if required.
Ensuring the security of the residence by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
Skills in cooking and food preparation are preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Previous experience working in luxury or private households is advantageous.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Flexibility to adapt to the household’s schedule and specific needs.
Discretion, confidentiality, and respect for privacy are essential qualities for this role.
A valid right to live and work in the UK is required; previous experience in similar roles is preferred but not essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality domestic support within a private residence.
Driving preferred but not essential
Occasional dog walking
Occasional cover when the family travels.
