About the Role

We are seeking an entry level Junior Retoucher to join INK’s Art Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in 2D retouching, photography, and digital image creation, alongside a growing desire to learn key technical skills within CGI workflows and visual storytelling.

You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality visual assets, supporting primarily still-based projects, and collaborating closely with creatives across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Imaging & Retouching

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for high-end retouching and compositing
Confident use of:
Layer-based workflows for structured, non-destructive editing
Advanced masking techniques for seamless compositing
Pen Tool Pathing for precise selections and cutouts
Blend modes & blending groups to achieve refined visual outcomes
Basic understanding of image cleanup, colour grading, and finishing for production

Personal Attributes

Highly creative with exceptional attention to detail
Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative
Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Open to feedback with a strong desire to improve and refine work
Passion for photography, design, 3D, and emerging technologies
Strong grasp of composition, colour, and visual hierarchy

Communication & Collaboration

Strong ability to articulate creative thinking and design rationale
Confident presenting work internally and, when required, to clients
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across teams and disciplines

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Design, Digital Arts, or related field
Awareness of current design, technology, and visual trends
