Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Assenta Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring that all specifications and quality standards are met. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects within the rail industry.

The Role:

Electrical modification including design, implementation and testing
Monitoring of all records with regard to maintenance exams and defects
Processing, monitoring, maintaining and implementing of the QMS, CMS and SMS
Vehicle Maintenance Management
Quality Assurance
Quality, Compliance and Audits
Production of Engineering Change Documentation
Incident reporting
Assisting the Identification of spare parts for rail vehicles
Monitoring of regulations and standards and update company policies, procedures and documentation to reflect changes
Provide technical assistance to depot technicians when required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Strong electrical knowledge with experience in system design, implementation, testing and fault finding.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Desirable:

Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with GD&T principles
Experience with MATLAB and Simulink is advantageous

Annual Leave and Benefits:

35 hours per week
35 days annual leave

Salary: £42k - £45k depending on experience.
